Professional & Industry Liaison
of the IEEE Long Island Section

The Professional & Industry Liaison Committee coordinates LI Section activities with local groups including industry groups, professional organizations, civic groups and social groups with the aim of enhancing public awareness of the IEEE and engineering in general. Our primary relationship with other technical professional societies is through the Engineers Joint Committee of Long Island (EJCLI). The EJCLI produces two major meetings each year.

During Engineers Week, in February, the EJCLI produces the Engineers Week Seminar Series. The second meeting, Networking Evening with Dinner and Ethics Seminar, is held in September. The EJCLI also maintains a joint calendar in order to avoid schedule conflicts between the member organizations to enable anyone to review all technical professional meetings scheduled on Long Island.
