An invitation to post lecture viewgraphs may be extended to our speakers, based on the discretion of the Society Chair. If it is mutually agreed upon, the link to the lecture viewgraphs is posted on the Society page. To avoid problems with website navigational changes and other issues, these viewgraphs are hosted on the IEEE Long Island server.

The IEEE Long Island Section provides links to other websites, as a service to our visitors, not as an endorsement.

Website Content Guidelines

Requests to update the website should be sent to:

Content may be edited and formatted by the webmaster as necessary to fit the website theme and/or to accommodate space limitations.

The dedicated chapter pages and affinity pages contain information relative to the mission of that specialty. Commercial links (i.e. links to companies) are permitted provided they are pertinent. It is preferred not to provide multiple links to different portions of the same website. The duplication of content available on other websites is strongly discouraged.

Accuracy and suitability of content on the chapter and affinity pages are the responsibility of the Chair and Vice Chair of the specific chapter and affinity group. Content on these chapter and affinity group pages must focus upon the needs and interests of the Long Island section.

Abstracts, viewgraphs and any other meeting material are posted on the society page that sponsored the event. If multiple societies co-sponsored an event, the material is posted only on the primary sponsoring society's page.

The website is not intended as a news forum. Please send these items to the editors of The Pulse:
