The seventh annual Long Island Power Electronics Symposium & Exhibits was held on 2025 November 6 from noon to 8 PM at the Hauppauge Radisson. Professionals involved in all sectors of power electronics were invited.
At the event, over 75 companies showcased their products and services in a 55-table exhibit hall packed with attendees, while three technical lecture tracks took place in separate chambers. After a complimentary networking lunch, the lectures were kicked off with the keynote address “Superconducting Magnets for Particle Accelerators” by Vikas Teotia of Brookhaven National Laboratory. All twelve technical lectures that followed were approved for PDH credit.
The official attendance count at the Symposium was 539, including lecturers, exhibitors and general attendees.

Alan Steines, Cummins Valvetrain Technologies
Great job in establishing more room for exhibitors and foot traffic. There was a variety of new inquiries which helps us as a manufacturer determine what investments to make for the future.
Anthony Gallucci, Glenair
The IEEE Power Symposium was an outstanding event! The atmosphere was vibrant, the room layout was excellent, and the improved lighting made a big difference. ... planning and organization are always top-notch, professional and seamless. This year’s attendance was impressive, with not only local engineers and customers but also participants from upstate New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and beyond. The hotel staff, as always, was courteous and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.
Ann Marie DeLuca, Crowley Associates
The 2025 event was excellent! This is one of the best organized events we attend for IEEE shows. The efforts pay off for the quality of attendees that are at the event. Throughout the entire day all the way up to 7PM we had great conversations with existing and new potential customers.
Jim Barsaloux, Keysight
The show was a success for Magnetika. The IEEE LI team has once again done a great job setting up and coordinating the event. The new expanded exhibit hall size and layout is a welcome improvement.
Paul Zdanowicz, Magnetika
The show is always well attended. I am a Sales Rep. I plan to get several of the companies I represent to attend next year. My one negative comment is that the exhibit floor gets too crowded. I think you need to consider a bigger venue.
Russell C. Pepe, ATM
The Symposium was great. i got alot of information from it. I look forward to the next one.
Luis Rivera, BC Systems
Excellent symposium, as always.
Clifford Furcall, Inverion Power
The show was very well managed as it has been in previous years. I was impressed by the number of vendors, and I can truly appreciate the effort it takes to coordinate this as I have been responsible for doing this work for the SMTA. The sessions I attended were packed and the information/presentation was very good.br>rent Gingrich, TTM
... the IEEE LI Power Electronics Symposium was excellent ...
Carlos F. Jativa, Farmingdale School of Engineering Technology
Excellent show. Well attended and supported by the customer base.
Paul Pacent, Pacent Engineering
The IEEE LI Power Electronics Symposium offered an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with representatives of industry giants, learn about their products, and connect with engineers and enthusiasts in the field of power electronics.
Sethu Madhavan, LSI CSI
The expanded display area allowed exhibitors and clients to roam freely without feeling cramped in narrow aisles. The three lecture rooms were spacious and away from crowded facilities.
John Impagliazzo, Hofstra University
Another successful symposium. Amazingly the show seems to continue to get improve each year. Better participation. Better attendance. New layout seemed successful.
Rob Weintraub, SJ Associates
The show was very well attended. In fact it was almost too well attended - at some points the closeness of conversations made it difficult to have conversations as the background noise was very loud. Other than that, it was a great show, the venue was well lit and the customer engagements were solid. The only thing to consider is to consider a larger venue as the show has outgrown due to participation.
Eric Oseassen, Rohde & Schwarz
Great event. Lots of energy from the participants. Looking forward to next year.
Bob Zollo, Keysight
Overall, a very nice symposium and all involved should have pride in putting on such a quality event.
Chris Early, Early Electronics
it was an excellent event. It was my first time attending and I was very impressed by the number of attendees. Our firm is represented by GSA Sales and they had a table at the event that showed some of our products. Next year, we plan to also reserve a table next to theirs so as to be able to showcase more products.
Gil Battistin, Celduc
It was our 1st year for setting up and we plan to do it again. I like the attendees. In general, I like the set up and would not change anythiing. You have a great thing going here that is very unique.
Michael William Smith, Hughes-Peters
The 2025 IEEE Long Island Power Electronics Symposium was an excellent and insightful event. The technical sessions were well-structured and covered a broad range of emerging topics in power electronics, including renewable integration, wide-bandgap devices, and advanced converter designs. The networking opportunities were particularly valuable — connecting students, professionals, and researchers created a strong platform for collaboration. The industry exhibits were also informative, showcasing real-world applications of innovative technologies.
Mizanur Rahman Howlader, Danesh Science and Technology University
Show was very informative, an opportunity to see where Power Supply Technology is going, in terms of footprint, efficiency, cooling, and external/internal noise concerns with available specialized test gear on display. Classes were well scheduled, informative, with plenty of time for questions. There was also an opportunity to network and collaborate, thank you!
Mario Klas, Nexus Technology
The event was successful for me both personally and professionally. Professionally: I met with reps from Samtec and got contact info for a Field Sales Engineer. He helped my group solve a problem that had us originally ordering large quantities of connectors we did not need. There is a one-off solution. Also, I met with some exhibitors who are customers of Parker as well as some future suppliers. Lastly, I met up with a former colleague I had not seen in 15 years. It was well worth my time! I am also a fan of spectrum analyzers and enjoyed chatting with the exhibitors after having sold them as kits previously.
Bruce Barlowe, Parker Aerospace
The exhibitors were plentiful and knowledgeable.
Henry Pinto, Island Associates Inc
The room setup was excellent as there was plenty of room for the exhibitors. I like the expansion of the people/companies that were giving the seminars.
Bert Parachini, Foster Wager
Great job by everyone. We will be back next year.
William Hayes, Retlif
The team does an excellent job, and there is a great attendance by the local engineering community.
Rich Perkins, TAM
This was an excellent conference. I thought the presentations were relevant and very good as well. Overall a great experience.
Lee Sirio, TTM
The show is always a great value for the dollar. Well attended and administered.
Gary Pendola, Good Ark Semi
I enjoyed the symposium especially the topics Wettable Flank QFN/DFN Packages and GaN at 125 C
Ergin Gungor, TTM
Very well attended and well organized.
Arnold Stillman, POEM Technology
I loved the show. Met a couple of vendors that I really liked. The talks were great too! looking forward to next year!
Christopher S Tamargo, Brookhaven National Lab
